Inside the van.

One dog at a time, no crates and no barking room. The van brings its own water, power and tub, so we don't need anything from your house.

What's inside.

A small grooming room, set up for one dog at a time.

  1. 1

    Tub and warm water

A full-size tub with warm water from the van's own tank. Used water goes into a separate holding tank, so nothing runs down your drive.

  2. 2

    Grooming table

Non-slip and at a comfortable height, with a soft loop that keeps your dog in place while we trim.

  3. 3

    Dryer

A professional dryer with adjustable speed. We start on low for dogs who don't like the noise.

  4. 4

    Power and air

The van runs its own power and air conditioning. Cool on an August afternoon, warm in January, and no extension cord to your house.

A visit from the driveway.

Here's how the hour usually goes. You stay home the whole time.

  1. Minute 0

    The van parks

We pull into your driveway or the curb out front. Nothing to plug in, nothing to unlock.

  2. Minute 5

    Your dog goes in

You walk them to the door. A quick hello and a sniff around first, no rush.

  3. Most of the hour

    The groom

Bath, dry and trim, with only your dog in the van. You're welcome to watch from the door.

  4. About an hour

    Handed back

Your dog comes back inside clean, and we tell you how it went.

Good for anxious, older or reactive dogs.

We can't promise every nervous dog will enjoy a groom. What the van does take away is a lot of what tends to upset them: other dogs barking, hours in a crate, and the car ride there and back.

Older dogs can take breaks when they need one, and we lift them onto the table instead of asking them to jump.

If your dog is reactive, tell us what sets them off when you book. We plan the visit around it, and if a groom stops going well, we stop too and talk it over with you.

Good questions.

  • No. The van carries its own fresh water, heats it, and runs on its own power. Used water goes into a holding tank and leaves with us. You don't need to be near an outlet or a hose.

Your driveway,
our van.

Tell us your dog's name, size and anything we should know. We confirm the time by text.
